This is not a haiku! Tuesday evening, I was just settling down to watch NCIS, when I heard two loud booms. I really thought it was feral cats playing on the roof, as they often do. Nope, it was a meteor blowing in over my part of the world. WOW! Here come the Geminids!

Mekong river--
the swaying of our hammocks

turquoise puddles filling dinosaur tracks

overturned boat

tacks alongside

on the relish tray

the plodding of rain
in my empty guest room

or crows

green zinnia
